Well, I've officially had my first Mother's Day. I really enjoyed spending time with Mom, G-Momma, Sue, and Granny. While it was great, it was not very different from any other day. I think I've figured out that, for me, Mother's Day is every day. I love spending my time with Troy and Dan. It's my favorite "pasttime". Seeing Troy smile, hearing him laugh, even when he drives me crazy, it's the greatest thing in the world to me. I've had some great examples in my life, so I'm sure that helps my feelings about being a mommy. I've always had a lot, lot, lot of love to give. Having a child really makes it easy to give that much and that kind of love. I may even be a bit more in love with it than many moms. I know only a few ladies that really enjoy pretty much 24/7 mommy time and can do it without losing their minds. I know this can change over time, but I have so much faith that T will continue to be a sweet kid and very easy to love - at least MOST of the time. :o)
I'm so thankful to have Troy, Dan, and my mothers in my life. It's a very special job and experience to be a mommy and wife. If this is all I "make" of myself, then I will be very happy and proud.
